The Erie Shore Landing Laundry is a commercial laundry owned and operated by the Arc of Wayne. This laundry has been operating since April 2021 and is the only one of its kind within Wayne County and the surrounding area. This service currently specializes in the needs of hospitals and nursing homes, and is equipped with a delivery truck and new commercial washers and dryers.
The creation of the laundry operation has presented The Arc Wayne with the ability to hire people with and without disabilities, and to continue our mission of promoting the well being and self fulfillment of all people. Additionally, people are given the opportunity to develop new skills and be better prepared for changes in the labor market.
